So if you are the ones that just want to get some money into your bank accounts and hit the road do not read further! This is definitely not a strategy for you!
This is for the overachievers out there! That want to create value, that love what they do, that they can’t get enough of what they do!
If you belong to this second magnificent category of entrepreneurs, I want to share with you the insights of my last video. And it is all about content! The content you put out there on your Social Media and other online channels. And I would like to share with you some simple but really super effectivestrategies you can follow in order to best utilize it, in order to achieve the optimal results for your business.
Because content is nothing more than a story.
And as a matter of fact, the story of the strategies I want to share with you began many many years ago, when earth was inhabited by at least 6 kinds of human species, but today the only one that has survived, is us, the Homo Sapiens. When I had a conversation, with my friend Christina, about Professor Harari’s book called “Sapiens”, I was immediately intrigued. His main focus is to give an answer on why us, as human species, were the only ones who survived. And as a matter of fact we were not the strongest or fastest from them species out there!
Where he came down to, is that Homo Sapiens was the first human ever to use the power of a story to create communities. And this is such powerful an example to showcase how incredible of a tool a story is.Human kind actually managed not to become extinct and instead create this world we live in today because of stories!
So I am guessing you can only imagine how in our internet era you can incorporate storytelling and make your business and your online presence simply thrive.
Thus, inspired by the Big Bang Theory, here are my three unique ways to utilize your content in the right context and in the right way to connect in a positive, natural and really engaging way with your online audience.
The first one is:
→ The Honest Conjecture. Whenever you try to tell a story, the best advice I can ever offer is to just be vulnerable. The more vulnerable you get towards your audience and the more real and honest, the more engaged your public becomes. So, always have it as rule: use personal stories. This is the way to go, if you wish to connect and bring better results for your business online through your content.
The second one is:
→ The Third Wheel Paradox. The third wheel situation in human relations generally is not considered a good thing, right? And this is exactly the reason why I call this technique a paradox.
Because, by asking people questions like “have you ever felt that?” or “have “have you ever dealt with?” you only get them feel uncomfortable, suspicious and finally get their guards up.
So, next time, instead of asking these kind of nitpicky questions just try to use an example of a friend or someone that you know that has done X and actually achieved Z.
Why? Because this is the best and most immediate way people can connect. Just like a default, they will keep their guards down and will be able to listen more. They will be able to realize that they are not alone with the problem or situation they face and someone else has been where they are now so there is hope. If you want to keep people engaged and keep them listening to you, the above strategy is the way to go.
Finally, the third one is:
→ The Guru Paradigm. Everybody follows someone that inspires them and they want to be them one day. When you share content that has to do with Gurus, famous people or influencers out there you get your audience engaged, but more importantly, you get them to trust you. The main reason this strategy works is because you are talking about someone they already know, and this makes it actually the easiest way to convey a message.
